The Sound of the Gospel: Tunesha Crispell

Gospel music singer Tunesha Crispell passed away after a bout with cancer. Known as the “lady with the voice like light,” Crispell had a voice that brought the illumination of Christ to the hearts of all who listened. Known for her stellar work as the lead singer with James Hall and Worship and Praise, she was also an outstanding soloist with her debut “Just As I Am.”

Before her death, Crispell chronicled her cancer journey by exhibiting great bravery, and putting up a hard fight, which she won on numerous occasions.

We continue to keep her memory alive through her own words and remember her son Melvin Crispell III and other family members in our prayers.
