Our Father in Heaven sends us frequent troubles to try our faith. If our faith is worth anything, it WILL stand the test. It is a poor faith that can only trust God when friends are true, the body is healthy and finances are many.
True faith holds to the Lord’s faithfulness when friends are gone, the body is sick and finances are lacking. Affliction comes to the servant of the Lord so in trying times, as in those that are good, God gets all the glory.
Ultimately, strong faith is found when “tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.”
Peace is sweeter after conflict and rest is more welcome after turmoil. This page serves as a reminder that EVERY word God has uttered toward you are Yea and Amen in Him.
“Scarred For Life,” a Facebook community, was founded on the principle that the Word of the Lord remains forever (@hiswordremains4ever) and that the scars from cancer surgery are the banner of faith that one has, as a reminder that there was life before cancer and much more life to live. Scars don’t define you nor are they the sum total of your experience with cancer. Cancer is a word, not a sentence. Through encouragement, faith, trust, sharing and caring, this platform, along with “Scarred For Life” endeavors to support the one affected by cancer – in every aspect of their every day.
Contend for the Faith.
